Deal News

The Deal School News program is available to all 8th grade students. Students film on a weekly basis and our news program airs on Monday mornings.

The Deal News program provides students with many important life skills including:

• Developing communication skills: Students learn to write, speak, and present information clearly and effectively.
• Promoting teamwork and collaboration: Students work together to produce a polished final product.
• Building confidence and public speaking abilities: Being on camera or behind the scenes helps students overcome shyness and gain confidence.
• Fostering a sense of community: The program keeps the school informed and connected, highlighting student accomplishments and school spirit.
• Providing real-world experience: Students gain valuable experience in media production, which can be beneficial for future careers.
