Ms. Pawlak

 

Welcome to the 4th through 6th grade Special Education Resource classroom page! My name is Ms. Erin Pawlak. I have been working at Deal School for the past year as a Special Education teacher. However, this is my 18th year in teaching. I have taught in both New York City and New Jersey and have taught grades 1st through 6th. 

PROFESSIONAL:

I hold a Bachelors of Arts from Lafayette College and two teaching certifications in education from Hunter University where I received my Masters in Special Education in Learning Disabilities. I am certified in Elementary Education grades 1-5 and Special Education grades 1-9 . I taught for nine years in New York City and then in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey for seven years. I started here at the Deal School last Spring, and I look forward to an exciting 2024-2025 school year!

PERSONAL:

I was born and raised at the Jersey Shore. I have one daughter, Alice 4, who just started Preschool. When I am not teaching at the Deal School I enjoy spending time on the beach, hiking, traveling, and watching my daughter dance and try sports for the first time! We are always busy on the weekends and she loves everything PRINCESS!
