Who We Are / Purpose
The Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) is a collaborative partnership between parents, district and building administrators, child study team members, and teachers, dedicated to supporting students with disabilities and ensuring their success. Our mission is to foster open communication, address concerns, and advocate for the needs of students receiving special education services. Through regular meetings and discussions, we aim to enhance educational opportunities, share resources, and strengthen the connection between families and the school district. Together, we work to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Goals
- Enhance Communication & Collaboration: Strengthen the partnership between parents, educators, and administrators to address the needs of students with disabilities.
- Advocate for Student Success: Identify and discuss challenges impacting special education services and work toward solutions that improve student outcomes.
- Increase Awareness & Engagement: Provide parents and educators with information, training, and resources to support students with disabilities effectively.
- Promote Inclusive Practices: Support district-wide initiatives that foster an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
- Provide Meaningful Feedback: Offer input on district policies, programs, and services to ensure they align with the needs of students receiving special education services.
